This breed is prone to several diseases, such as PRA (progressive retinal atrophy), hip dysplasia, eye problems (cataract), skin allergies and some others. It is possible to avoid some of them, if all the breeding stock is checked prior to mating. A devoted dog breeder is always ready to provide information on his dogs and show a photo.
